BEWARE OF IMITATION AS CAIREFRESH™ CABIN AIR-CON HEPA FILTER !!!

Since 1 July 2006, we found out that there are some look-alike and/or imitation CaireFresh™ cabin HEPA air-con filters being sold in the market. We are currently investigating the matter and are taking legal advice on the remedies available to us.

We believe that such attempts to pass off the imitation air-con filters as our CaireFresh cabin HEPA air-con filters and also ride on our goodwill and reputation in our products and registered trade mark CaireFresh are not acceptable.

While the legal proceeding is going on, we would like to make an advanced notice to the public to be aware of such imitation. These imitation cabin air-con filters may pose a health hazard to the users and technical problems to their cars’ air-con systems since the quality of such products are untested and they do not have the proper certification from the relevant institutions/authorities.

With effect from 3 August, all CaireFresh cabin air-con HEPA filters bear the security label and/or material watermarks to help members of the public to distinguish the original CaireFresh filter from the imitation. Whenever possible, insist that your workshop advisor shows you the CaireFresh filter with the security label and/or the watermarks before proceeding for filter installation.
